Wes Hamilton MSN, CRNP
Wes was born near Cloverdale in western Lauderdale County, where he attended Cloverdale School and graduated from Wilson High School. His healthcare career began in emergency medical services (EMS in 1990, where he served as a Nationally Registered Paramedic for nearly 30 years.
Driven by a passion for advanced clinical care, Wes became a Flight Paramedic, earning the FP-C (Certified Flight Paramedic) credential. He later completed nursing school and became a Registered Nurse (RN), working in the Cardiac and Thoracic Recovery Unit (CTRU) at ECM Hospital in Florence. There, he specialized in post-operative care for open-heart and thoracic surgery patients.
While working as a flight nurse, Wes earned additional advanced certifications, including CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), CTRN (Certified Transport Registered Nurse), and CFRN (Certified Flight Registered Nurse).
In 2010, Wes earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and began practicing as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). His nurse practitioner experience includes work in Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings.
In 2019, Wes and his wife, Lynn, founded Hamilton Family Urgent Care in their hometown of Florence, Alabama. In 2025 Hamilton Family Urgent Care had grown to 4 locations in North Alabama.
In 2025, Wes and Lynn founded Hamilton Health Co., a new concept Direct Care model focusing on Direct Primary Care and Functional Health.
Wes and Lynn have been married for 30 years with 3 grown boys and 4 grandkids.
